**My family of four had a great stay at this adorable, cozy A-Frame. We wanted a peaceful, relaxing escape and that is just what we found! The home was clean, the furniture cozy. The kitchen was well appointed with anything we needed. We roasted s’mores in both fire pits and used the grill for meals. There were lots of comfortable sleeping options and plenty of bathroom towels! We enjoyed our visit and hope to be back again someday soon. - Mallory

**Warm, wonderful, and private. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. We had a ton of plans and were very busy, it was wonderful to have a place to stay that was centrally located. The kitchen is wonderful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our downtime playing cards and board games. - Brian

It may be a little hot when you arrive, rest assured, AC is not needed at night. Open the windows, enjoy the fresh air, it gets in the 50's at night. Keep in mind, Hyggested is an A-frame cabin and can feel a bit chilly in winter. A fireplace and mini-split heater keep things comfortably warm at a set temperature.

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $57 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $6 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
